Wedding Coordinators Play A Huge Role in a Wedding

Wedding coordinators play a huge role in a wedding. If you are going to get married and do not have one, things may end up happening in a very odd manner.

First things first, the wedding coordinator has some tools of the trade she will have in her purse. Here are a few things that I have seen: Safety pin, cell phone, pocketknife, lighter, scissors, tissues and thread and glue. Well, some bridesmaids may have a mishap with their shoes. The heels may break. The wedding coordinator is there to make sure that things go well. The wedding coordinator must be a quick thinker. She has to be able to find a quick solution to a problem that, if left unresolved, will the wedding lose its glamor. If you want everything to go smoothly, hire a wedding coordinator. Sometimes, the church may have a key employee who knows where everything is at. He or she is a good person to use as a wedding coordinator. The minister will tell you how you can retain such a person's services. Obviously, you will have to pay him or her.

Some wedding coordinators amy book the facilities usually a year to six-months in advance. They provide timelines for couples to arrange for music, photography, decorations and a marriage license. Rehearsal and reception are also part of the job. They also help couples have premarital counseling sessions in case they are needed.

How much do you pay for the services of a Wedding Coordinator?

The cost may vary between $500 and $800 depending on the location, what needs to be done and the generosity of those who are getting married. Some wedding coordinators will rent the facilities. Remember that they remove stress from parents of the bride and groom. Well, in the end, parents will chip in as much as the wedding coordinator will.

Wedding coordinators greet and give directions to bridesmaids and groomsmen at rehearsals the night or the week before the wedding. They calm the nerves of the wedding party. There are many church wedding coordinators wherever you. The only thing is that they do not advertise themselves or promote themselves that much. If you want a church wedding, talk to your pastor, priest, or minister about referring a wedding coordinator.
